  • Practical Courses: Focused on cultivating core competencies in six key functions of "International Advanced Asset Management," the curriculum is delivered by industry-experienced instructors. In addition, courses in Financial Technology and Sustainable Finance are integrated, allowing students to not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical experience.

 

  • Master-Level Lectures: The institute has hosted seven master lectures thus far, featuring prominent figures such as Chairpersons, Presidents, CEOs, and Deans. Through these lectures, students have the opportunity to interact and learn from these masters face-to-face, gaining valuable academic and practical insights.

 

  • Comprehensive Teaching Facilities: The department currently has two classrooms for teaching, equipped with projection screens and tabletop microphones for student-teacher interactions. Furthermore, there is a multi-purpose room that can accommodate over a hundred people for teaching or small-scale events. The department also provides a computer classroom for practical exercises, enabling students and instructors to utilize renowned financial databases such as Bloomberg, WRDS (expected), and TEJ (expected) for hands-on learning, achieving a blend of theory and practice.

 

  • Beautiful Learning Environment: Located in the 85 Building, the institute offers a stunning view of Kaohsiung Harbor and Sizihwan from a high vantage point, providing a magnificent backdrop of the expansive sea and azure sky. While studying here, students can also appreciate the renowned beauty of Kaohsiung.

 

  • Internship: Collaborating with 22 financial institutions, the institute leverages the power of the finance industry to establish industry-academic alliances. As students learn, they also have the chance to intern at banking institutions, gaining additional practical experience.

 

  • Instruction in English: In line with the government's 2030 bilingual curriculum objectives and to expand students' international perspectives, all courses at the institute are taught in English. Instructors are exclusively either foreign instructors or scholars with years of overseas practical experience. This approach enables students to develop language skills aligned with international finance while acquiring financial knowledge.
